Novi film koji se zove Rudderless ('Bez Vodjstva') govori o ocu koji koristi muzika kao mehanizam preživljavanja nakon smrti deteta.

Odrasla zvezda Jamie Chung koji će biti zajedno sa Gomez u filmu obećavam da ćemo videti potpuno drugu stranu od dosadašnje glumice tv serije 'Čarobnjaci sa Vejverli Plejsa'.

"Stvar je u tome, ona je tako talentovana, i stvarno ćete videti potpuno drugu stranu nje. Biće malo više krhka," rekao je Chung za E! News.

"Mislim da je ovo strana koju nikada do sada niste videli. Prilično je fantastična. Mračna je, ali je ona uvek divna.

Felicity Huffman, Laurence Fishburne, Billy Crudup i Kate Micui takođe će piti u filmu, što Chung naziva 'veoma interestantno'.

The new film is called Rudderless and is about a father who uses music as a coping mechanism to deal with the death of a child.
Grown Ups star Jamie Chung stars alongside Gomez in the movie, and promises we'll see a "different side" to the former Wizards Of Waverly Place actress.

"The thing is, she's so talented, you're really going to see a different side. It's going to be a bit more fragile," Chung told E! News.
"I think it's a side you've never seen of her. It's quite fantastic. It's dark. But she's always so lovely."
Felicity Huffman, Laurence Fishburne, Billy Crudup and Kate Micui also star in the movie, which Chung calls "really interesting".
"It's the parents' perspective of being the parents of a murderer, a mass murder like Sandy Hook," she said. "You never get to hear the parents' perspective of dealing with the hurt and the betrayal and the anger and the love.
"It's a really interesting angle on a story like that. It's pretty dark but it's kind of beautiful in a way."

Harmony Korine's directed film "Spring Breakers" is set to debut anytime this summer. The film stars former Disney stars, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens along with "Pretty Little Liars" Ashley Benson. "Spring Breakers" is certainly a far cry from Gomez's squeaky clean roles in "Wizards of Waverly Place".

Despite all the great reviews on the film, Selena Gomez is unlikely to get support or any means of promotion from her BFF, Demi Lovato. The former Disney stars have been supporting each other with regards to the music but "Spring Breakers" is one other thing for Lovato.

Lovato, who had been admitted into rehab back in 2010, admitted she'd be the last person to watch the film in fear of it triggering something in her.

"I haven't seen it. I heard it has a lot of drinking and using, so as much as I want to see it, I feel like it might a trigger or something. I kind of have to stay away from movies like that, and parties and clubs," explained Demi.

"Lovatics" would certainly understand why given Demi had been subject to self-harm and eating disorders back in 2010. A few weeks before the rehab, Lovato was spotted countlessly partying at clubs with then boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama.

Choosing not to watch the film is a smart move on Lovato's part of which hopefully Selena Gomez would understand.
